What is the difference between other knowledgebase and this ?
Other knowledgebase will get you all the pages with the keyword you are searching. But we give you one answer only and they are objective to the point. Getting you close enough, is not good enough for us. Expert can work on one answer and make it more versatile by covering wider aspects.

What is the difference between a book and this knowledgebase ?
Experts write everything they know in the form of book and their job is done.
But in this case, you do not have to read the entire book. You ask the question,
the tool will pull out; every help text, picture, video, flow chart, parts and tools
needed and put all of them together and give it to you in one shot. For example if
you have to change oil in the car, it will give you procedure on how to do it.
What tools required, what supplies are required, all the associated questions will
also answered in case it was necessary.

Absolutely. This way if you still get a phone call, you can update the knowledgebase, which is a living document.

Some of our products are getting older; the people involved are either retiring or moving up ?
This is meant to capture knowledge. Only because the astronomers for years captured
the knowledge; we know, what we know today. Otherwise we will still be asking the same
question whether the Earth is flat or round? Capturing the knowledge is essential for the
next generations.

If I capture the knowledge, wouldn’t I loose my job ?
Did agricultural machinery put all of us, without food? No.
By improving the method of working, we improve the standard of life.
With new technology, experts will be improvising the Knowledgebase system
and also giving feedback to the Engineering to build a better product.
Repetitive work is avoided and focused on value added work. Actually the
work is more secure because the standard of work is higher and it cannot be moved.
Always a richer country does the more intellectual job. We can move the textile
worker job out, but not how we make the jet engine. The stability of the job comes
from the intellectual level and not the repetitiveness of it. If the intellectual
level is not risen, the job loss will eventually come not within, but from outside
in a bigger way.

Absolutely. If a USER has to find an ME to get an answer, it takes time.

I understand an Expert have to create a Knowledgebase. But I am always busy ?
That is the reason one needs to create it. When someone comes to an expert
and asks a question, expert should ask himself a question, if this question
will be asked once more this week?. If the answer is yes. Take 10 minutes and
create a knowledgebase and give it to the person as a printout. Use the feedback
to improve it. Expert may never have to do this again. Alternately we have a network
of experts who can capture the knowledge for you avoiding the initial work.

Does knowledgebase always give an answer ?
Knowledgebase may solve 85% of the problems. The knowledgebase matures as
it is used more and more. It is always good to have a library of past problems
called Case base. We have a very detailed module on this also.

product ?
This is the special feature of the product. If you already have a knowledgebase
done for a particular product, and the next product is introduced with similar
components, it is as good as a drag and drop. You edit the knowledge only in one
place. Every place will have this information updated. It is not like keeping a
word file for every piece of info, where it needs to be changed in so many places.

Definitely. Phone support person can be trained to answer the question,
leaving the expert for other important things. The product has special tools,
which will convert the reports into word file. At one click the knowledge can
